It's very cute and a perfect additional gift for my sister's birthday — she's a hairstylists, so it's obvious why it fits perfectly for her! The only negative I can find is I wonder why it has a few additional gems on the end of each of the scissors' "blades" that go in slightly, and I'm not sure why they designed it like this because it makes it look a little like medical scissors instead of hairstylist's shears. I think if they removed those weird endings, it would be perfect! But they are still very cute, with gems that look nice, elegant & DEFINITELY NOT gaudy at all. The back of the piece is textured with lined grooves, which I think will help keep the clip in place perfectly. It didn't come with the backing in the pictures either, so that's why I took off a star, as it would've made it more gift-able. But I recommend, and the seller consolidated the package with other sellers on here to provide complete and fast tracking that I thoroughly appreciated.
